Executive Producer/ Co-Founder
Aimee is a jack-of-all-trades in the video world – a producer, a director and an editor. Aimee has a knack for bringing out the best on-camera performance from her subjects, even those with no on-camera experience. Aimee believes that making great video should be fun, and her enthusiasm for the process gets everyone on set in a happy and creative mood. After more than a decade in front of the camera, Aimee found her real passion behind the scenes, producing, directing and editing. Prior to founding Concept2Cut Productions, Aimee spent 12 years as a television news reporter, the majority of that time as a general as signment reporter for major network affiliates in New York City. Aimee grew up in New Jersey and received a Journalism degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Her ascent up the broadcast news ladder took her to Peoria, Illinois, as a reporter for WMBD-TV and to San Diego, where she was a correspondent for KFMB-TV, before she returned to her East Coast roots. Aimee spent the next seven years as a reporter at WCBS-TV and WNBC-TV in New York City. In 2007, Aimee launched the video production company Snapfocus Productions with her husband, Rob. In 2011, they opened Concept2Cut Productions. The rest is history.
